Yesterday when I finally got into TS, there was an argument if you will about the battle that occurred the other day in town between the Taathians, the Dragons and whoever else in the lands that got involved.
I heard Chasdity say that she thought her scroll has been misunderstood but with a calm voice though, Kagee made it clear or attempted to that the riot had been caused by the Secian and her Draco Friends. Of course some Leuian had to put their two cents in and no it was not me this time, well not yet anyway. Lestor commented that two Secians had been attacked before the Dragons ever attacked anyone. Chasdity then told Lestor that Lapiz had indeed been killed first and the Dragons then chose to retaliate.
I must admit some of what was being said, along with the looks some had on their faces made this all very amusing, but what happened next surely made it seem even more so. Sweetie started screaming out for "Grandma Kagee, Grandpa Grachus, and Uncle Crow!" and if that wasn't bad Enough. She then screamed out for Aunt Callik (the Sanene fondling Fir elf) and Niece Litorth! (The great winged Silver Drake). Callik then said something he might need to be punished Over. He said the Taathian's were reduced by the Gods and want to take it out on us.
Sweetie's thoughts of "Mother Lestor! Father Chasdity!" along with Sister Stanrar, then popped into our heads for an added touch of humor she gave both Kagee and Grachus a big smooch before slipping out of TS.
Things got even more interesting as a few snakes (which is a few too many in my book) slithered on their bellies into town, biting Callik repeatedly and causing him to die a horribly painful death, as he writhed about on the ground crying out for repentance and giggling between each horrifying confession that he made. He admitted to such things as being a Bard at heart and although his behavior and actions were a far cry different, what he really loved to do was serenade and woo all the little forest creatures he met with his bardic tales and song. He goes running through town stripped of all clothing thinking it will purify his skin and since he has no inhibitions, also cleanse his soul. OK well this didn't actually happen with Callik but I am entitled to dream. But there were snakes, really there were.
More skitterlings have been spotted around Spur, dreadful news indeed, for everytime more come through that portal from Moloch's plane to ours, the size of the portal increases and will continue to grow till Moloch himself comes through. Also Medares and Athyn have yet to be seen....Medares might know how to keep the portal from gaining in size or close it completely but if we cannot locate him...
Another interesting find perhaps if it is even a new one. Down at the Tower, written upon the arch itself are the words...
Th. .ns.er .s sim..e. "..an.ui..ty"
Even with all those letters missing, we knew the words were...
"The answer is simple: "Tranquility"
If this has anything to do with the disappearance of Medares or the possible unpreventable arrival of Moloch, we do not know yet. I shudder to think what will happen if we cannot find a way to keep Moloch's portal from growing large enough to allow him free passage.
Our sources also told us that Kagee Predator, follower of the Chaos Lord Evoloch, got manacles put on her wrists by Grachus, drug from TS yesterday and straight into the Taathian temple, mere seconds later a blood curdling scream was heard and then silence...apparently she was not only sacrificed but is once again a follower of Taath.
I managed to catch up to Foom and asked her what she thought, she said to me, "I'm so glad to hear that Kagee has rejoined us. Though personally she is quite tiresome, she has a strong sword arm and those are always welcome. I assume, of course, that she has recanted all the lies and slanders she spouted about Taath and his followers."
